My all time favourite is the village of Hora on top of the hill on the tiny island of Folegandros.

Sifnos is also lovely and pretty unspoiled.

There's a good little company called Greek Sun which arranges trips to the smaller islands.

there's some lovely places id recommend you flying to in Greece Boots, specifically the side of a mountain or the middle of the sea.

Going island hopping around Cyclades again. Fly to Mykonos and then getting ferries to Naxos, Paros and for the first time Amorgos. Each island different with their own highlights. Also love Ios and Antiparos but not going there this year.

Assos, Kefalonia always seemed an ideal place for a getaway when I visited, Ithaca is supposed to be superb as well, according to my bubble mates anyway....

Re: Greece in June
For me, you can't beat the island of Skiathos. I've travelled to many of the Greek islands over the past 25 years, but have settled on Skiathos as my favourite. Have been 7 times in the past 5 years, and am travelling back at the end of July.

You'll not go wrong with any of the resorts as it's a very small island, but we love Troulos.

As for accommodation, again we always choose small and intimate places, so have a look at Byzantium, Christakis, Filia, Morfos or Vila Rosa.

They're all on Trip Advisor and I've stayed in all of them. If you do go, head into Skiathos Town which is about 15 minutes on the local bus, amongst the very many great bars and restaurants you'll find The Admiral Benbow. It's owned and run by one of my best mates who bought it and moved out there last year...

I presume you are looking for an island, not mainland. I'm working in Athens at the mo, and Sifnos recommended to me last Summer. Only spent a few nights there, but small, quiet, not much nightlife. We stayed near the port itself, 5 mins walk to a nice sandy beach, maybe a dozen restaurants, not much more. Didnt have time to venture further afield, but it is a small island, not known for its nightlife! I'd go back. Can let you know the b&b details if interested.

I liked Kea. Red Tractor Farm. I would have stayed up in the mountain capital Ioulis and driven around the island a bit more of I'd had more time.
